Please note that there are two campsites called "Le Zagarella" in the Vendée. Ours is situated in Longeville sur Mer. Make sure that you book the right campsite, and that you enter the correct address in your GPS! 😉 Zagarella is a beautiful site in the heart of a pine forest. The entire water park was renovated in 2020, as was the bar-restaurant area. In 2021, a brand new paddling pool and a canopy for the outdoor pool were added. My favourite mobile home is the Habana Top Presta VIP. These accommodations have a view of a field with direct access to the playground, making them ideal for families with young children!

At the very tip of the famous Poitevin Marsh, at Longeville-sur-Mer in Vendée, the Zagarella campsite offers fully-equipped mobile home rentals. From the campsite, the beach is within walking distance via a forest footpath just opposite the campsite!
The campsite features a water park with 2 heated outdoor pools, an aquafun paddling pool, a heated indoor pool, 3 double waterslides and a Space Bowl slide!
Opposite the Island of Ré, Longueville sur Mer boasts 4.3 miles of beaches and 1606 acres of forest. Enjoy a whole host of watersports and nature activities! St. Hilaire la Forêt, Talmont Castle and other historic sites, as well as various excursions such as the Island of Aix and the famous Fort Boyard, the Island of Noirmoutier and the Island of Yeu are all well worth a visit!
Last but in no means least, 56 miles from the campsite you’ll find the famous Puy du Fou theme park which retraces chapters of history through very impressive shows!

With the Fun Dose, you can choose the right campsite for the whole family. There are four different entertainment levels: green, blue, purple, and red. The fuller the bottle, the more entertainment there is! If the potion vial is green or only half full, then there is little entertainment on site. If the vial is red or nearly full, plenty of entertainment is available.
No matter the level of the Fun Dose, the mini-clubs and participation in all activities are free of charge.
On this campsite the Fun Dose is red. This means there is a lot of entertainment provided!
From 5th July to 29th August 2025, we offer the following entertainment free of charge:
-The Clapou Club (4-6 years old) and Policator Club (7-10 years old) welcome children from Monday until Thursday, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. and from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m.
-The Nobodys (11-17 year olds) meet up twice a week.
-We offer evening entertainment 5 nights a week, 4 entertainers, aqua gym every morning and an almost non-stop super fun day and evening program until midnight!
-Entertainment on French campsites starts from the 8th July (in French). On Dutchbox campsites the French animation team includes 1 Dutch speaking entertainer.
In the Netherlands, we offer entertainment from 5th July to 31st August 2025.
