In Provence, 30km from Orange, in the region of the Mont Ventoux, the Carpe Diem campsite can be found just 1.5km from the medieval village of Vaison la Romaine.
The mobile homes, Carabouille House and camping pitches for rent occupy leafy, undulating grounds. Some of the pitches offer stunning views of the medieval town!
The campsite features a superb water park organised in terraces, with 3 outdoor swimming pools including one that is heated, a heated indoor pool, a children’s pool with a waterslide designed especially for small children, 3 waterslides and, last but not least, a thrilling Space Bowl slide for adrenalin addicts!
Vaison-la-Romaine boasts a considerable archaeological wealth! Visit the medieval town, the narrow streets, the castle, and the Roman bridge. This region is full of ancient sites, including castles like Vaison, Entrechaux, Villedieu and Rasteau, and perched medieval villages such as Crestet and Séguret. The campsite is located 10km from the bottom of the Mont Ventoux, alegendary summit that you can climb by bike or by car! Enjoy the unspoilt natural setting of vineyards and olive groves, of which Nyons, 17km away, is one of the hotspots.

The campsite has several water slides, which you can view in the pictures above.
The Spacebowl is a sensational slide where you will move swiftly down a path to arrive in a large bowl. The winner is the person who makes the most laps! (Minimum height requirement : 1m20)
For the little ones, there is a play island with water slides where they can have their very first sliding experience. This small island is perfect for children aged between 3 and 6 years old, as the shallow water allows children to safely walk in the ent
A paddling pool complete with its own water slide, otherwise known as the snake, for children under the age of 6. Children can swim and slide in the safety of this attraction.
Ideal for children under 3 years of age, our colourful and playful paddling pool allows toddlers to experience the joys of swimming with their parents.

People have different expectations when it comes to their holidays. Some prefer quiet holidays where they spend time with family and relax. Others prefer sports and a party atmosphere.
With the Fun Dose, you can choose the right campsite for the whole family. There are four different entertainment levels: green, blue, purple, and red. The fuller the bottle, the more entertainment there is! If the potion vial is green or only half full, then there is little entertainment on site. If the vial is red or nearly full, plenty of entertainment is available.
No matter the level of the Fun Dose, the mini-clubs and participation in all activities are free of charge.
On this campsite the fun dose is purple, the campsite is very lively.
From 5th July to 29th August 2025, we offer the following entertainment free of charge:
- The Clapou Club for 4-6 year olds and Policator Club for 7-10 year olds welcomes your children Monday–Thursday from 10 a.m.–12 p.m. and from 3 p.m.–5 p.m.
- The Nobodys (11-17 year olds) meet up five times a week.
- 4 activity leaders are present on the campsite all summer. Aquatic wake-up call every morning, sports tournaments and friendly entertainment are organised all day long.
- 4 big evening events are organized per week and we will also surprise you with our top secret entertainment and the summer dance.
- Additionally, many evenings are hosted by hired entertainers and performers who provide high quality shows.
In the Netherlands, we offer entertainment from 5th July to 31st August 2025.
