In Provence, 6 km from Nyons, a water park to die for
Located in the heart of Drôme Provençale, between the River Rhone and the Alps, a short distance from the village of Vinsobres and Nyons, the Domaine Le Sagittaire campsite proposes rentals of mobile homes, some with a customised PIRATE decor, as well as chalets, and the rather unusual Politicator house.
Open from April to September, the campsite’s beautiful water park, which is open to the public, comprises:
- 3 waterslides for adrenalin thrills. The Racer: A 3-lane slide for maximum safety, but the first one to the bottom still wins! The Space Bowl slide (out of bounds to anyone under 1.20 metres tall), and the double Crazy Cone (out of bounds to anyone under 1.40 metres tall)!
- an outdoor heated swimming pool with 8 waterslides, a snake slide for children, and a counter-current river,
- a heated indoor pool with whirlpool bath,
- a pirate ship with paddling pool,
- a lagoon with a sandy beach,
An unsupervised heated outdoor pool is available from mid-June to mid-September (weather permitting), exclusively for people staying on the campsite.
People staying on the Sagittaire campsite are free to use the entire water park at will from 9am to 8pm!
Children under the age of 10 years must be accompanied. Boardshorts and bermuda shorts are not permitted.
This region is full of historical gems including typical villages like Vaison La Romaine, multiple castles like Grignan and Suze La Rousse, as well as natural settings like the vineyards, the olive groves for which Nyons is famous, the lavender fields and the orchards. You can also enjoy a host of sports activities like walking and cycling, or tackle the climb to the top of the legendary Mont Ventoux, some 40km away.

Our covered swimming pool will be heated from the opening of the campsite until its closing.

This campsite comprises a large natural lagoon of fine sand and delivers a beach atmosphere on the campsite whilst allowing younger children the enjoyment of building sand castles.
The campsite has several water slides, which you can view in the pictures above.
The Spacebowl is a sensational slide where you will move swiftly down a path to arrive in a large bowl. The winner is the person who makes the most laps! (Minimum height requirement : 1m20)
The Racer is a slide with three lanes for crazy, but safe, sliding fun! 3, 2, 1: the fastest person wins! Children between 6 and 16 years old will love this slide!
A paddling pool complete with its own water slide, otherwise known as the snake, for children under the age of 6. Children can swim and slide in the safety of this attraction.
Ideal for children under 3 years of age, our colourful and playful paddling pool allows toddlers to experience the joys of swimming with their parents.
Your children will set off to board the Pirate Ship and explore its recesses! Sliding down the slides, and when the wind picks up, the adventure begins!
In need of a little 'you' time? Enjoy our hot tub for a few blissful moments. (Heated)

People have different expectations when it comes to their holidays. Some prefer quiet holidays where they spend time with family and relax. Others prefer sports and a party atmosphere.
With the Fun Dose, you can choose the right campsite for the whole family. There are four different entertainment levels: green, blue, purple, and red. The fuller the bottle, the more entertainment there is! If the potion vial is green or only half full, then there is little entertainment on site. If the vial is red or nearly full, plenty of entertainment is available.
No matter the level of the Fun Dose, the mini-clubs and participation in all activities are free of charge.
On this campsite the Fun Dose is red. This means there is a lot of entertainment provided!
From 5th July to 29th August 2025, we offer the following entertainment free of charge:
-The Clapou Club (4-6 years old) and Policator Club (7-10 years old) welcome children from Monday until Thursday, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. and from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m.
-The Nobodys (11-17 year olds) meet up twice a week.
-We offer evening entertainment 5 nights a week, 4 entertainers, aqua gym every morning and an almost non-stop super fun day and evening program until midnight!
-Entertainment on French campsites starts from the 8th July (in French). On Dutchbox campsites the French animation team includes 1 Dutch speaking entertainer.
In the Netherlands, we offer entertainment from 5th July to 31st August 2025.
